Weber 141-P Color Label Printer Applicator

Answering the need for short-run, custom color label printing and application,  Weber Packaging Solutions has created the Model 141-P, a semi-automatic label applicator for applying pressure-sensitive labels to cylindrical products.

This combination of Weber's Alpha Compact label applicator and Epson’s C7500 color ink jet printer allows a customer to print razor sharp high-resolution labels and apply them to products via a loose-loop configuration. You only print the number of labels needed, making this ideal for small batch custom labeling for craft beer breweries, wineries, spirit distillers and other manufacturers that have round straight-walled products.

Labels products up to 6.1" in diameter
Short batch set-up times
Placement accuracy of 0.03"

If you are looking for a reliable, economical bottle-wrap labeling system that is easy to set up and simple to maintain, then check out the Weber 141-P.

Industries that use the Model 141-P:
Craft beer labeling
Medical and pharmaceutical container labeling
• Food/Sauce bottle labeling
• Cylindrical beverage & juice bottle labeling

Weber 141-P Wrap-Around Label Printer Applicator

Geset 121 label applicator HMI controller The Model 141-P is a semi-automatic label print-apply system that is ideal for applying pressure-sensitive labels to cylindrical products.

The basic system is comprised of a modified Weber Alpha Compact label applicator combined with an Epson C7500 high-speed, high-resolution ink jet label printer. The result is a color label printer applicator that uses a loose-loop configuration to allow consistent labeling.

Once set-up, the user simply inserts the round container into the 141-P and initiates the labeling via a manual or foot-operated switch. As the products spins, the label is wrapped around it providing uniform and accurate labeling. Segmented pressure rollers enable processing of products with protruding edges.

Weber's versatile 141-P provides a simple, cost-effective solution to low-volume wrap-around labeling that is as accurate and flexible as similar labeling systems used in larger-scale operations. The Alpha controller is simple to use and lets you adjust the label applicator quickly.

Because the system lets you print only the number of labels needed, there is less waste than ordering a whole roll for a small limited run. If you are a craft brewer putting out a special seasonal batch and only need a couple hundred labels per run, this is the system you need. You could also print individually unique labels that are personalized since this is basically a desktop printer. Front and back labeling is also easy to do do, including variable spacing between the two labels.

The unit also boasts robust steel construction that makes it ideal for lower-volume, intermittent labeling projects or for multiple-shift operations.
